SUMMARY:
We're on the lookout for an instructional designer/ e-learning developer with a problem-solving attitude and out-of-the-box thinking. You’ll need to be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas and show amazing attention to detail. We are happy with someone who can join us remotely. Initial 3 month contract
Location: Remote
Level: Strong intermediate – Senior (5+ years of experience)

  • Within the creative team, you’ll collaborate with other multimedia designers, instructional designers, e-learning developers and quality control to produce the best solution for the clients’ environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Apply the ADDIE methodology.
  • Meet with clients to determine their needs and suggest solutions
  • Facilitate workshops
  • Research and write content 
  • Analyse client or raw content to identify any gaps, structure courses and compile learning outcomes.
  • Compile e-learning storyboards
  • Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
  • Write scripts for video-based content.
  • Design supporting material
  • Visualise instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
  • Brief and guide developers on storyboards.
  • Review developed e-learning for quality and provide feedback to developers.
  • Use approved storyboard and approved look and feel (e-learning template) to develop interactive and engaging courses using Articulate Storyline or Rise.
  • Manage own project requirements within agreed scope and deadlines.
 
Other Requirements:
  • Experience in using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
  • Experience in Adobe Suite programmes - advantageous.
  • Understanding of needs analysis, content analysis, learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in creating storyboards in MS Word.
