External Sales consultant - Government

SUMMARY:
This vendor-certified IT Solution provider has been in business for over 30 years. As a BBBEE level 1 company they cover all IT solutions and printing needs for any type of business. You can join their team as a Junior enterprise Solutions Sales Representative dealing mainly with in the government sector. This is a very lucrative position that can lead to massive earnings.

Education:

• Completed matric certificate

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE GOVERNMENT SECTOR - THIS INCLUDES TENDERS FROM START TO FINISH.
• Minimum 2 years within the Office Automation / IT Solutions industry.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and OA and Enterprise market dynamics.
• Proven track record within the office automation/IT industry.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Good business acumen, with the ability to manage a deal from start to end.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be deadline driven and be able to work under pressure.
• Show high levels of drive, energy and enthusiasm.
• (Compulsory) Valid driver’s license & Own reliable transport.

Duties and responsibilities amongst others:

• Generating your own leads and hunt for new business.
• Achieve gross profit targets.
• Scheduling new customer appointments, minimum 10 per week.
• Manage, analyse and grow existing client base.
• Retain business.
• Understand companies value proposition, product range and services.
• Attend mandatory training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Validate, manage and maintain maximize database information as well as load all opportunities on the company CRM system.
• Facilitate all financing in accordance with approved finance houses and in accordance with company procedures where applicable.
• Must include extended warranties where possible and encourage clients to enter into Service level agreements.
• Attend monthly KPI sessions where measurement of personal performance is discussed with action plans put in place.
• Follow the company product pricing policies and guidelines.
• All quotes and contracts will need to be signed off by the sales manager. All quotes, orders, applicable proposals and Finance approvals need to be forwarded to sales coordinator so that order may be processed.
