SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established laboratory equipment and consumables supplier requires an External Sales Representative, Randburg

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing current key accounts as well as developing new business.
• Maintaining sales and services as well as implementing all sales and marketing strategies for a range of products.
• Arranging client meetings of 10-15 customer visits per week
• Conducting demonstrations on equipment to customers when required.
• Attending to customer’s enquiries and resolving all issues professionally.
• Researching and driving strategies to develop the market.
• Compiling quotations and following-up on orders.
• Drafting and presenting product related presentations at seminars and exhibitions as required.
• Meeting annual sales targets.
• Identifying areas of growth within the region and identifying possible strategies to enable this.
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Attending all product training as required.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• BSc/BTech Molecular Biology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 year’s work experience as an external sales representative on liquid handling, centrifuges, freezers CO2 incubators, bioreactors, water baths and chillers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Experience and knowledge on PCR are required.
• Language: English (Read/Write/Speak)

Salary package -depending on experience gained and Knowledge on products and Industry

Package: Negotiable - + 100% medical aid (Discovery Classic Delta Saver) for the main member only, up to R3000.00

Basic: R25 000 – depending on experience and Knowledge

Commission: 5% of the total GP (GP on products 30%), uncapped

Company car: Polo TSI or equivalent

Petrol card, Cell Phone, Laptop

The package is structured as follow: Basic + Company car + Petrol card + Medical Aid + Company Cell phone + Commission
