Our client in the laboratory equipment sector requires an External Sales Representative (Life Sciences/Molecular Biology), Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Minimum 2-3 years Sales experience- liquid handling, centrifuges, freezers CO2 incubators, bioreactors, water baths and chillers.
• BSc/BTech Honours or Masters degree in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Experience and knowledge on PCR required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Managing current key accounts as well as developing new business.
• Maintaining sales and services as well as implementing all sales and marketing strategies for a range of products.
• Arranging client meetings.
• Areas: Gauteng/Limpopo/Mpumalanga/FS/NW/Sub Saharan African countries
• Conducting demonstrations on equipment to customers when required.
• Attending to customer enquiries and resolving all issues professionally.
• Researching and driving strategies to develop the market.
• Compiling quotations and following-up on orders.
• Drafting and presenting product related presentations at seminars and exhibitions as required.
• Meeting annual sales targets.
• Identifying areas of growth within the region and identifying possible strategies to enable this.
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
• Attending all product training as required.

Salary: Basic, plus commission, plus company car and cell, Petrol card, 100% Medical Aid
