SUMMARY:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing and growing sales and market share of the company’s product offering, covering all tools & equipment and engineering consumables.

Duties and responsibilities:
§ Identify prospective customers and buyers.
§ Identify key accounts to achieve agreed targets and budget.
§ Achieve sales targets against specific price lists in accordance with divisional strategy and set budget.
§ Maintain a regular calling schedule with company’s branch representative to customers.
§ Build and maintain a good relationship with customers.
§ Service existing clients regularly.
§ Attend to and resolve customers’ queries and complaints timeously.
Qualifications
§ Grade 12 or equivalent
§ Technical trade or relevant qualification
§ Computer literate
§ Driver’s license
Experience
§ 5-10 years’ experience within the Tools & equipment and Engineering consumables
§ Mining background would be advantageous.
§ Must be able to calculate discounts, profits, etc.
§ Strong negotiation skills
