SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering industry based in Vereeniging is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team

This role is for an operational leader who will act as a manager for their specific sales area, driving growth by proactively influencing sales and managing day-to-day operations

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric or relevant NQF 4 qualification
Driver’s License (Code 8) and own reliable transport
A minimum of 2+ years of sales experience
Strong skills in communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making, selling, negotiation, planning, and organization
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
Previous experience in the Oil and Lubricants industry is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

Managing sales targets and driving sales
Conduct repeat visits to customers, communicate directly with customers regarding pricing, products, promotions, stock issues, and other relevant information
Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and preparing reports
Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base
Monitoring and reporting on the strategy on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Proactively manage and influence relationships to ensure growth for all stakeholders, including customers, peers, and colleagues
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge to give effective presentations and guidance to customers
Identifying and developing promotion and advertising opportunities in your sales area
