External Sales Rep

SUMMARY:
A well-presented, well-spoken, and dynamic External Sales with a flair for sales, is being sought by our Client within the Moving industry based in Midrand. A Sales and Marketing Diploma would be an advantage. Must have excellent costing skills and knowledge of domestic and international removal systems. This individual will be travelling extensively and work independently

POSITION INFO:
Min requirements

• Have minimum grade 12 level entry education
• Have at least 2 years relevant sales experience, preferably in the removal industry
• Good Geographical knowledge local and international
• Be computer literacy (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
• A related Sales and Marketing Diploma would be an advantage
• Have the ability to work independently
• Be neat and presentable appearance
• Have excellent costing skills and knowledge of domestic and international removal systems
• Have a flair for Sales
• Have excellent communication, organizational and costing skills
• Must be able to converse on all levels
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to travel extensively

• Work with External Sales as a team
• Secure new business
• Deal with client queries effectively and timeously
• Client sales data to be captured accurately and detailed
• Book sales calls for Externals
• Communicate clearly & precisely with client
• Produce accurate & intelligent quotations
• Follow-up on all quotes.
• Obtain all necessary documentation from client, including acceptance, payment, company order,
• completed insurance application
• Liaise with Operations to book move and advise of customer requirements
• Arrange storage where necessary or re-delivery.
• Complete job cards timeously (International moves)
• Allocate costs correctly
• Collect payment
• Produce weekly and monthly reports for Branch/Sales Manager.
• Give advice to clients about all country requirement
• Deal with any problems quickly and effectively
• Provide feedback on moves to ensure smooth operation
• Keep Branch/Sales Manager informed
• Arrange move with Operations well in advance
