SUMMARY:
My Client, one of the largest manufacturers of vacuum pumps is seeking an External Sales Engineer that has experience in the sales of Vacuum pumps, Water pumps, Compressors or other Industrial Equipment.

POSITION INFO:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Grade 12 and Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
5 yrs experience in end-user sales as well as distrubution selling.
Must have knowledge of Vacuum Pumps, Compressors, Valves or other industrial equipement.
Experience selling to these markets: Food, Plastics, Wood, Medical, Automotive, Packaging, Oil and Gas, Waste Water.
Experience selling an international brand and working for an OEM.

BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead Generation.
Completing sales/meeting reports weekly.
Following up on all quoted enquiries.
Submitting technical tenders.
Focus on Service orientated customers to grow the workshop service as well as the field services.
Deal with Engineering and Maintenance Managers relating to support with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, putting SLA''s in place.
