External Business Development Executive

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Print Industry is looking for an External Business Development Executive who will be responsible for generating external sales and building the company’s existing database of clients as well as managing existing relationships with clients.

Essential requirements:

Certificate in Marketing / Sales / Customer Service (Preferred)
3-5 years- sales experience / Dealer Support
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving abilities
Strong Computer Skills-Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Ability to multi-task and achieve set goals and targets
Excellent client interaction and customer care skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Positive and pro-active attitude
Must be able to function in high pressure environment
Negotiation and people skills
Ability to build customer relationships (know your client)
Work effectively in a team and independently
Analytical and Numerical skills
Proven success with driving sales goals and growing your business
Be able to work independently
Must be ambitious, assertive and patient

Key duties:

Building relationships with new clients to seek sales opportunities
Understand clients positioning in terms of needs
Seek growth opportunities at existing clients
Visit and maintain relationships with major clients
Achieve sales targets and margins
Manage and grow dealer base
Maintain professional relationships with existing customers at all times
Monitor all open orders from placement to delivery
Generate quotations for clients
Provide customers with product information
Maintain and grow local customer database
Follow up on all quotations
Attend to customer queries
Inform customers of price increases
Update and maintain customer information including, contact data, special interests etc.
Maintain through up-to-date knowledge of all products, pricing and local competition
