Exports Controller

SUMMARY:
My client is seeking an experienced Exports Controller with experience in SADC Countries (non-negotiable)

POSITION INFO:

• Logistical problem solving
• Communicate and build relationships with customers, transporters, suppliers, service providers, shipping agents and storage facilities
• Control of all stock and logistics and movement of loads, and other raw materials and other products from origination through to delivery
• Responsible for assisting on all documentation and systems and processes of the trade including customs and export and import requirements.
• Deal with the clients of the trading company, Road transporters and authorities

Non-Negotiable requirements:

• Experience moving goods cross border via ROAD (SADC Countries)
• Consolidated loads experience essential
• Relevant diploma in logistics MIN. Degree highly preferred
• Well spoken and written English

Essential Experience required for consideration

• End-to-end logistical arrangements of into AFRICA via ROAD
• Road freight management (Truck configuration, truck types)
• Generating and preparing export documentation including, Phytosanitary certificates; Certificates of Origin; SADC certificate; SAD 500; PODs
• Dealing with transporters, authorities, customers, suppliers, service providers, and storage facilities
