Exports Administrator

SUMMARY:
An established agricultural seed production company is seeking a dynamic and confident Export Administrator to prepare and manage all export and production documentation in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining relationships and communication with relevant stakeholders.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• At least five years'' relevant experience is required
• Previous exportation experience within the Agricultural industry is an added advantage
• Operating experience on Agro Business Solutions software will be beneficial
• Above-average communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels and experience will be required
• Must be a self-starter and be able to learn on the go
• Strong time management and multitasking skills are essential
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office will be required

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting exports, shipping line and vessel bookings.
• Performing all export administration.
• Liaising with freight forwarders and shipping agents.
• Preparing shipping instructions and drafting pro-forma documentation.
• Liaising with the Department of Agriculture for relevant certification.
• Continuously communicating with clients and the production facility.
• Capturing of shipments on the Agro Business Solutions system.
• Completing production orders.
• Capturing client and producer contracts on the system.
• Generating producer contracts.
• Managing the administration of productions on the Agro Business Solutions system.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
