Our client is seeking an Export Manager to join their team based in JHB.

Responsibilities:

Drive growth and profitability.
Ensure competitive products and services.
Develop partnerships.
Manage client services.
Oversee the performance and shipment execution of applicable client portfolios.
Engage with airlines on space, pricing, and queries.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Manage risks.
Manage client-specific/unit/division budgets.
Ensure controls are in place.
Report on financial matters.
Develop a high-performing team.
Support in managing performance and development of staff.
Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

National Certificate, Advanced Diploma, B Tech Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
Degree in Freight or Transport Management (advantageous).
Master of Business Administration (MBA) (advantageous).
Over 7 years of experience in a similar position.
More than 15 years of experience within the Supply Chain, Shipping, Airfreight, and Logistics Industry.
Knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export laws, and industry standards.
Technical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and export management tools, or ERP systems.
