Export Logistics coordinator

SUMMARY:
Our remarkable client, who offers integrated Logistics solutions for airfreight, sea freight and destination services for project cargoes throughout Africa and globally is currently looking for a Logistics coordinator to join their outstanding team.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

• This person will coordinate and deliver on all operational activities related to Exports, Port operations and Imports, liaising with services providers, ensuring that all shipments are executed efficiently and cost effectively.
• He or she will ensure compliance, clearance and delivery of shipment with the country’s customs, shipping regulations, quality requirements and safety procedures.
• Coordination of vehicles in port for loading and offloading of containers.
• Oversee vessel loading and offloading
• Ensure that all port documentation is in place and for seamless clearance.

Education:

• Relevant tertiary degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 - 5 years working experience in a relative role.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to deal with both service providers and customers
• Good problem-solving skills
• Expertise and experience in freight forwarding industry
• Broad range of experience gained from supply chain, logistics, transportation and forwarding.
• Excellent planning, organising and controlling skills
• Good time management, operationally driven and results focused

Remuneration:

R160 000.00 – R220 000.00 CTC pa
