Export Buyer / Trader – Big Bay, Bloubergstrand – R18,000 per month

Export buyers/traders with strong excel knowledge

Looking for candidates who understand sourcing (buy to resell), export, multi currencies and logistics (road freight & airfreight mainly)

Ideally with a background sourcing industrial goods (spares, lubricants, tools, steel etc.)

Requirements:

-       Fully computer literate with strong Excel skills mandatory

-       Good communication & organization skills

-       Import/export, logistics, cross-border trade and multi-currencies knowledge/experience an advantage

-       Ability to work under pressure

-       Must be fluent in English

-       Additional foreign languages an advantage (Portuguese, French, Italian)

Duties as a TRADER:

-          Sourcing & negotiating prices, products, suppliers and service providers

-          Compiling client’s quotations

-          Processing all aspects of an order

• Analysing client’s PO and ensuring it is acceptable
• Placing orders with suppliers
• Ensuring all suppliers orders are correct and matching quotation and/or POs
• Coordinating deliveries, packaging, labelling with suppliers and transporters
• Booking with transporters
• Preparing export documentation
• Communicating with clients and clearing agents
• Ensuring leadtime are respected

-          Coordinate all logistic matters relevant to a PO

-          Ensuring all necessary admin tasks

-          Keeping the company paperwork in order
