SUMMARY:
An established manufacturing business seeks a detail-oriented Export Administrator to manage all export-related administration in line with SLA’s, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.

POSITION INFO:

This role is key to ensuring accurate documentation, efficient shipping coordination, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Ideal for someone with solid logistics experience, administrative rigour, and a commitment to compliance and service excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 with a Post-Matric qualification (Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management or related).
3–5 years’ experience in shipping/logistics within a manufacturing setting, with at least 3 years focused on exports.
Strong administrative skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP, and job-specific software
Solid knowledge of production, logistics processes, and Incoterms
Understanding of governing export legislation and documentation standards

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate container and transport logistics
Ensure export documentation is prepared, and invoicing is accurate
Maintain export compliance and update SOPs
Handle customer queries and manage order status reporting
Monitor cost controls and support budget preparation
