Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Agent/Consultant/Expert for their team. There will be some flexibility around work hours.

Location: Cape Town Southern Suburbs

Requirements:

4 years travel experience
First hand core destination experience (Sub-Saharan Africa)
Proven sales experience
Computer literate at an advanced level
Excellent communications skills both written & verbal
Knowledge of GDS/flight operating systems an advantage

Responsibilities:

Curating high-end, tailor-made travel packages for a wide range of traveler segments
Taking responsibility for the sales process from start to finish (including: planning, costing, refining & confirming -> post travel communications)
Taking warm sales leads and converting them
Presenting customised itineraries to clients
High end customer service
Responsibility to keep abreast of the industry's developments
Maintaining up to date commercial knowledge
