Expeditor - Project Manager Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client currently has an opportunity for Expeditor – Sales Project Manager Assistant to join their team. As they are specialists within the hoisting equipment/mine winders industry - offering services in design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of hoisting related equipment, they require a mining background for this position.

POSITION INFO:

Job Experience:

• Experience within the mining industry
• Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Skills / Responsibilities:

• Quoting process: receiving orders from clients, informing salesclerks, client interaction, gathering of information (services for labour requirement, scheduling), formulating quote request
• Receiving orders, checking of equipment, establish working instructions, keep track of the order
• Save documents/forms on systems
• Communicate with client’s email/ telephonically
• Compare sales with quote
• Conduct internal hand-over meetings
• Issue work instructions and drawing so to production
• Communicate any delays
• Manage sub-contractors / invoicing
• Manage reports saving structure
