SUMMARY:
Our client in the Steel Engineering Industry is seeking a Expeditor to be based in Kempton Park

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Must have Matric/ Grade 12
Relevant Tertiary Qualification is advantageous
Minimum 2 to 3 Years Experience in distribution within the
engineering or construction industry

Duties:
Examine production and assign work to ensure compliance with production plans
Responsible for transporting goods from one place to another as quickly and efficiently as possibletracking an order, handling delivery delays, coordinating with the warehouse manager, and ensuring all orders have been shipped out
Synchronizes and facilitates the flow of work and materials between and within a company's departments
Create reports based on the shipping health
Coordinate the movement of materials through the various departments
Maintaining schedules regarding production, workers, progress and deadlines
Keeping track of inventory, placing orders as needed and inspecting quality is a large part of their job.
