Grade 12 – own transport and driver’s license essential
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).
3 to 5 years proven administrative assistant experience
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & related programs
Must be highly efficient with accurate typing skills
Experience with diary & travel management
Enthusiastic, flexible with ability to manage any changes in working environment
Provide all secretarial, administrative and support duties for the Director
Handle communications on behalf of the Director including daily maintenance of digital diary, arranging & accepting meetings, telephone calls etc.
Diary management and meeting commitments
Type minutes for various meetings throughout the month
Manage aspects of team meetings including venue set up, diary notices, documentation and materials
Organise and co-ordinate corporate travel and accommodation arrangements
Review and attend to emails
Exchange and obtain information for senior management and external clients/suppliers
Maintain appropriate levels of office supplies, stationary, office equipment including printers and photocopiers and monitors maintenance issues
Function coordination including arranging catering, security, invitations, RSVP’s etc
Draft routine letters or reports
Organise and maintain correspondence and records
Follow up on pending matters with some guidance
Any ad-hoc duties required to be completed in or out of the office
SALARY: R23k plus company benefits of medical aid and provident fund – dependent on experience
