Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Events Coordinator to become a part of the team at a beautiful, well-established hotel in Franschhoek.

Events Coordinator- Franschhoek


Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Events Coordinator to become a part of the team at a beautiful, well-established hotel in Franschhoek. The duties and responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Contacting potential leads from CRM system
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favourable terms
  • Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests
  • Creating reliable financial reports and collecting payments on time
  • Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
  • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
  • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in events management, hospitality management or similar
  • 2 – 4 years experience
