POSITION INFO:

Job Position: Estimator (Equity)

Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: R26 000 to R32 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification  

Qualifications / Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Finance or Marketing
• Minimum of 4 years practical experience in the Engineering Design / Drawing Office, Finance Office or Marketing Office
• Dynamic candidate who is looking to gain experience and grow into a more senior role
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills
• Intermediate level computer literacy
• Prepared to undergo written and verbal assessments

Key Performance Areas:

• Work under Companies Senior Estimator receiving guidance on the companies tender / estimating process
• Engage with Senior Managers to develop and define enquiry scope and requirements
• Prepare a technical / customer specification
• Prepare a costing estimate and interrogate costing inputs to create a price quotation
• Prepare tender documents
• Finalise and process internal order documents
• Hand over order to Contracts Manager and assist with internal launch of new orders
• Receive and process enquiries for spare parts
• Process any orders for spare parts, including internal order paperwork, expediting supply of parts, freight, delivery and payment
• Any other reasonable activity requested by the Senior Estimator or Manager
