Job Position: Estimator

Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: R26 000 to R32 000 per month basic commensurate with experience and qualification

Qualifications / Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in the field of Engineering, Finance or Marketing
• Practical experience (minimum of 4 years) in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
• Have excellent verbal and written English language skills
• Costing Accountant qualification and/or experience

Key Performance Areas:

• Technical administrative function in the tender process (estimating and establishing the cost)
• Engage with Management to develop and define enquiry scope and requirements
• Prepare a technical / customer specifications
• Prepare a costing estimate and interrogate costing inputs to create a price quotation
• Prepare tender documents
• Finalize and process internal order documents
• Hand over order to Contracts Manager and assist with launch of new orders
• Receive and process enquiries / orders for spare parts
