POSITION INFO:

Our Client is an empowerment company established in January 2000 delivering energy efficient electrical and lighting installations ranging from commercial, industrial to domestic servicing all industries. They are a proud level 1 BBBEE contributor and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

Construction Estimator required to prepare accurate estimates for Projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics whereby the successful candidate will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions.

The ideal candidate must have 3 years’ experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, 5 years as an Estimator and have excellent numerical skills an analytical mindset, and be thorough in managing relationships with key persons.

The goal is to provide detailed reports so that the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth.

REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma/BTech in Quantity Surveying
• Proficient in CCS, QTO and Exce
• 3 Years’ experience as a Site Quantity Surveyor and 5 Years proven experience as an Estimator
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles
• Contractually Astute
• In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, thoroughness and reliability
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
