JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an Estate Manager that will be able to ensure the running of two reputable Estates by running with projects that involve both technical aspects and effective communication with the contractors, managing agents and directors. We need someone who can manage the estates contracted service providers and ensure that they maintain the standards as set by the managing agents and directors. Be able to deal with owners’, and residents’ general enquires swiftly and provide feedback to the managing agents and directors.

Responsibilities:

The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role include, but are not limited to:

Manager and supervise day-to-day operations at the Estate.
Supervise all maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, roads, drains, security equipment, boreholes and irrigation across the Estate.
Attend to all Estate common property maintenance concerns and repairs.
Manage the process of obtaining competitive quotes and supervising contractors for all new and replacement infrastructure projects
Manage the assistant Estate Manager ensuring that tasks and responsibilities are delegated to him and ensuring that he complies with his defined responsibilities
Ensure the residents, owners and contractors are compliant with the Code of Conduct.
Ensure the residents, owners and contractors are compliant with the Architectural Guidelines.
Establish a good rapport with all residents on the Estate.
Liaise with residents and feedback to the assigned Directors and/or Managing Agent.
Report and follow-up on concerns raised at the Estate.
Ensure security standards are adhered to across the Estate.
Train Estate Management and Service Provider staff on Estate Standard Operating Procedures.

Additional Requirements:

Flexible and able to work shifts, which may include night work, weekends and public holidays in situations requiring immediate response.
