SUMMARY:
Our client in the hospitality industry is urgently looking to employ an Estate Ambassador who will work in close conjunction with all aspects of the estate and who must be strongly front-of-house orientated.

POSITION INFO:
Our client in the hospitality industry is urgently looking to employ an Estate Ambassador who will work in close conjunction with all aspects of the estate and who must be strongly front-of-house orientated.

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Requirements:

• Hospitality qualification (diploma)
• 2 years’ experience within a five-star hospitality environment
• Proficiency with basic computer applications: Google Docs & News Alerts, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must be fluent in English

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for optimization of the property awareness to guests and off-site public
• Responsible for optimization of the retail outlet awareness to guests and off-site public
• Responsible for optimization of all offerings and events in the various outlets and seasonal occurrences including the vineyards, greenhouse, and estate gardens
• Act as the liaison between all guests/off-site public
• Be familiar with all Estate offerings and general aspects of the estate (i.e. Wine Lounge, Restaurants, Spa, Lodges, Winery, Gardens, Vineyards)
• Be responsible for collecting pertinent information of guests interacted with
• Responsible for providing support for all departments and following procedures for receiving guests ensuring a world-class experience
• Responsible for Show-arounds – having a comprehensive and intimate knowledge of all aspects of the estate
• Ensuring that all brochures and department collateral stock levels are maintained
• Stay up to date with each of the departments and ensure a solid knowledge of new and current items of interest to the guests
• Be immaculately groomed and maintain appearances within the brief given
