Junior Environmental OHS Consultant – Port Elizabeth

Salary: R17.5k CTC Per Month

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for 3 x Occupational Health and Safety Consultants in Port Elizabeth, Gqeberha, Nelson Mandela Bay, Eastern Cape. These are permanent junior roles and applicants need only 6-12 months working experience, currently servicing clients from within automotive, manufacturing, FMCG, retail, logistics and hospitality sectors. These are admin focused roles inclusive of project planning, risk assessments, auditing, presentation and reporting. Candidates must have their own transport as they will be required to visit clients and attend on site meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management or equivalent
• Appropriate H&S programmes; SAMTRAC or NEBOSCH IGC (International General Certificate) Diploma will be advantageous
• Minimum 6 – 12 months relevant Health & Safety experience In Automotive / Manufacturing
• Consulting experience, Environmental Health & Safety will be advantageous.
• Valid Drivers License, own vehicle essential, non-negotiable (travel reimbursement excluded from package)
• Candidates from Automotive, Manufacturing, FMCG sectors preferred (not Construction industry)
• Demonstrated ability in MS Office, Computer Literate
• Well spoken, articulate, presentation skills, strong personality, assertive, professional
• Experience in Presenting to Senior Management on Risk Assessment, Audits, Reports & Project Plans

Duties:

Training on our systems will be provided, key performance areas include:

• Self-Development – meet quarterly deadlines & training
• Service Value Reporting – Client Retainer
• Project Planning, Implementation and Reporting
• Quality Control – Projects, Auditing, Leadership, Roll Out and regular inspections and on-site visits
• Business Development - Cross-silo/referrals/new deals
