SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Maintain a central repository of environments in scope with their latest endpoints/ connectivity and versions details Architectural oversight of the environments Communicate environment availability to project and application teams Liaison and co-ordinate with the implementation partners Coordinate with Infrastructure/DBA teams when provisioning the environments Coordinate with testing and project teams for database refresh activities Coordinate with multiple application/platform owners to help stand-up environments Coordinate activities of release engineers to automate the setup and configuration of environments Log, coordinate and resolve defects related to environments to ensure environment availability Support business UAT performed by business users for business sign off on Responsible for ensuring uptime of the environments for the program delivery timelines Liaison and co-ordinate with BAU teams for source (existing Hollard applications) environment availability
Required Knowledge and Experience	Good understanding of IT infrastructure and Cloud principles Extensive experience in ensuring the delivery of project environmental services, with significant experience in impact assessment and approval processes Experience in strategy development and understanding environmental processes and systems to support the execution of all project phases Sound written communication and report writing skills, including demonstrated experience in the development of policies, procedures and training materials Well-developed interpersonal skills, particularly in relation to establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with key stakeholders, fostering change through engagement, and delivering training and awareness sessions Demonstrable expertise with engineering tools such as Azure DevOps, Powershell, GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus or similar Experience with Azure cloud platform, AWS and Oracle cloud platform, various cloud-based applications and data platforms Understanding of Azure data components such as ADF, Synapse, Data Lakes, Purview etc. Technical background in software engineering and delivery Skills acquired or inherent abilities Proven experience with the analysis, requirements, testing and deployment of software using Agile methodology Strong verbal and written communication skills An ability to help maintain and co-ordinate development releases in accordance with testing needs Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms less technical people can understand. Educational Requirements	Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent degree required. Experience in coordinating with teams – onshore and offshore Azure/AWS cloud certifications highly regarded Formal Microsoft qualifications or Certifications Two or more years of insurance or financial industry background is desired.
