SUMMARY:
A big player in the alternative and backup energy supply market is seeking a Graduate (Electrical Engineer) to be trained as a Entry-level Technical Sales Representative.

Must be people-orientated and Driven to achieve sales targets. You will be involved from the first contact with the client to do a needs analysis, designing of the solution, through to the implementation and commissioning of the project.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
0 – 2 Years of Experience
Solid Technical background
Own Transportation
Valid Drivers’ license.
Strong interest and understanding of the Alternative Energy industry
Excellent bilingual skills in Afrikaans and English

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

Drive technical support, electrical design work, and sales.
Develop the design, draft the electrical drawings and sell the solution.
Internal technical support and sales but will on occasion be required to do site visits, evaluation, design, sales presentation, and the closing of sales.
Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting client needs and requirements.
Make and arrange technical presentations and demos.
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows conferences networking events etc.
Advise clients on updates and new technologies.
Maintain the CRM tool.
Preparing proposals.
