POSITION INFO:

Factory based in King Williams Town is seeking a Engineering Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team.

Duties include but not limited to:

Manages all Engineering and Maintenance functions, ensuring cost effective support to maximize efficient factory operations.
Manages maintenance and repairs for all areas of the plant.
Supervise and coordinate all plant maintenance personnel.
Directs maintenance of factory and coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
Advises management about equipment capabilities and, when needed, machinery procurement and design, and provides updates on issues related to the factory machinery.
Coordinate all staff contractors that supplement factory resources for shutdown maintenance.
Maintain safety and health statutory requirement.

Requirements:

Grade 12 essential
5 years Factory experience
Trade Test certificate
Diploma/Degree - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Government Certificate of competency
Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
Knowledge of SABS 9001
Good communication skills, good people management skills
