SUMMARY:
Our client is a mineral processing company providing solutions for the recovery of ultra-fine minerals, operating in Projects and Engineering services, Operations Management and Process Equipment. Currently, they have an opportunity Procurement, Quality and Expediting Engineer to join their team within the mining process industry. Based in Gauteng - Centurion

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Role:

Taking lead with technical procurement in accordance with client-specific standards.
Taking the lead in terms of quality on all disciplines
Expediting of procured equipment

Job Experience:

BEng / BSc in Electrical / Mechatronics / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Industrial

Skills Required:

Technical project procurement for equipment and instrumentation required
Conducting quality control
Expediting of procured equipment, managing OEM project schedules and ensure timeous delivery of goods
Manage OEM contracts – including negotiations and management of order placed
Generating of contracts with OEM
Ensure engineering design integration is done in terms of procured equipment with design office
Manage income & expenditure of the project
Manage installation and commissioning of all designs and systems
Setting up of meetings with relevant stakeholders and compiling reports
