Employee Relations Manager

Job Function

• Responsible for Employee Relations and coordination of management/union/employee engagements, communication, and initiatives designed to improve employee relations.

Key performance areas

• Facilitation and coordination of union engagement structures with company management structures

• Execution of the company Communication Matrix/Model
• Coordination and facilitation of Engagement Structures
• Dispute resolution
• Conducting Employee Engagement Surveys and applying remedial actions
• Stakeholder Management - Internal and external communication
• Execute Employee Stability relations

Requirements / Qualifications 

• NQF level 7 Qualification in Human Resource Management or Employee Relations field
• Skills and experience required
• Up to 5 years’ experience in employee relations management
• Sound knowledge and understanding of SA labour law legislation
• Track record of and knowledge of working in employee relations
• Professional knowledge of industry agreements (NBF, NB, etc)
• Good communication skills both written and verbally
• Advanced knowledge of theories, principles, and best practices of Human Resources management
• Knowledge of Business Processes
