SUMMARY:
Employee Benefits Manager - Business Development

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a dynamic Financial Services Provier seeks to employ a Manager - Employee Benefits

Ability to investigate and apply expertise to data with ain intended objective to to deliver on specific areas of expertise

Ability to analyze data and extract trends to ensure improvement of processes or customer satisfaction.  This could be in the form of innovative ideas as well as the task of compiling reports

engage and list to current challenges in the team/ and use expertse to trouble shoot issues in order to provide workable solutions

Ability to tackle a problem with the intent of using expertise/capability and experience to resolve speedily

Perform quality ssurance based on the specialised requirements of the role

Should be able to ensure strong stake holder management in Communication i.e. feedback to clients, managing clients, responding to clients, attend to queries timeously

Compile cost comparisons for clients regarding different risk providers and benefit.  These comparisons must be of such a standard that it can be presented to the client to make an informed decision

Complete proposal document and member summary for the EB Company and umbrella fund division within 48 houlrs after receiving all the necessary information..  Any queries regarding outstanding requrements should be dealt with within 24 hours after receiving information

Ensure attendance list is completed and filed according to FAIS requrement and that the parties meet all FAIS requirements

Manage team members'''' diaries and arrangement of travelling logistics

Co-ordination of meetings (internally and clients)

Writing reports as and when necessary

Daily administration to ensure efficient running of schemes

Keep records of all written communication with clients and internal departments

Drawing up of quotations for the Company and umbrella funds within 48 hours after receiving all necessary documentation

Assist with the co-ordination of external marketing events and the logistics thereof

Assist wth the supply and distribution of marketing material

Assist with co-ordination of business events and roadshows as and when required

Assist with the development of events calendar with the marketing team

Introduce client relations consultant to client.  Explain process to client and defined the different roles each individual plays within managing the fund

Member presentations with client relations cinsultant.  This should take place at least annually but preferably bi-annually with each client

Follow up with client relations consultant regarding finalisation of member booklet and any outstanding issues relating to any funds under administration

Establish relationships with all major unions and representatives and present company''''s products and services. Provide written feedbakc to management regarding the progress

Participate in work forums created by the Employer such as Occupational Health and Safety and Employment Equity

Maintain and improveme communication

Responsibilities

Prospecting of new business clients.  This will be for direct business and broker business.  Prospecting will be done via phone and visits/

Present the Company to potential clients (direct business or broker business) Face to Face interaction with clients and presenting the Company''''s offerings to clients

Building and develping new business introductions and relationships.  Opportunities need to be recognised and developed to the advantage of the organisation.  A written stragey needs to be developed for each client

Present to new potential and existing clients the complete value proposition

Finalising new fund or review documents and proposals and submit documents to relevant departments within the organisation for them to be able to execute implementation

Achievement of approved targets.  Targets to be set and monitored

General administration

Request risk quotations from different service providers and establish SLLA''''s with the proviers.  This must be done accurtely and within the necessary SLA as agreed

Follow up and liaise with different risk providers regarding outstanding quotatios.  The SLA must be used as guideline to secure that the risk providers act within certain periods

Compile cost comparisons for clients regarding different risk providers and benerfitd These comparisons must be of such a standard that it tcan be presented to the client to make an informed decision

Qualifications

Relevant B Com Degree or Bachelor''''s Degree

RE 1 & 5

Experience in Managing a New Business Development Team

Change Management Skills

Good communicator

10 years experience in a similar position

EB Experience

Financial Acumen
