Emergency Care Technician (ECT)

SUMMARY:

A private ambulance service provider situated in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, is seeking a friendly and professional Emergency Care Technician to join their Emergency Team.  Applicants must be able to work shifts as per operational requirements and work underground if/when applicable.

POSITION INFO:

To be considered for the vacancy, you need to meet the requirements as indicated below:

• National Certificate in Emergency Care
• Registered with the HPCSA as ECT
• Post-graduate patient care experience within an operational environment would be beneficial
• Valid Code 08 Drivers license with valid PDRP
• Good understanding of medical terminology and procedures
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Computer literate – Microsoft Office
• Ability to act quickly and efficiently
• Physical strength
