Electronics Technician (CCTV and Traffic Management)

SUMMARY:
An opportunity exists for an Electronic Technician with CCTV and Traffic management systems experience.

POSITION INFO:

The principal purpose of this role is to conduct installation, preventative and corrective maintenance (electronic and electrical) on all toll collection equipment, traffic management peripherals within the toll plaza, CCTV system and access control system; do recordkeeping of such maintenance and to report any serious and malicious damage to any equipment or buildings to head of department.

A. Minimum requirements:

Education & Experience (minimum requirements to perform the job):

• Grade 12
• Technical Diploma in Electronics (or any related further qualification)

Experience :

• At least 3 years related experience 
• Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers License

Knowledgeable:

• In-depth knowledge of electrical, electronics, panel wiring and PLC’s Basic knowledge of CCTV and networking Understanding of relevant procedures such as: Environmental, health and safety, compliance and good housekeeping practices Procedure manuals Understanding of Supervisory responsibilities/functions
