SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Electronics Technician in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:

Job Specification:

Software knowledge Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation, Beckoff.
Network communication protocols.
Repair and install electronic devices identifying defects and failures.
Develop electronic circuit devices.
Monitor and program PLC systems.
Monitoring the operation of network systems for communication: INTERBUS, CONTROL NET, DEVICE NET AND ETHERNET.
Responsible for the entire hardware and software automation system.
Monitor the operation of frequency inverters and parameterization.
Analyze maintenance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, Availability) and generate an action plan.
Identify the need for spare parts.
Plan and perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance services.

Qualifications:

Trade qualification or equivalent is mandatory.
Automotive experience mandatory.
5-10 years working experience - excluding trade training.
45 working hours per week.
Currently 2 shifts with great possibility of 3rd shift in future.
