You will step into a vital role focused purely on component-level printed circuit board repairs. Job Description
- Test and repair low-voltage electronic circuit boards down to the individual component level.
- Find circuit faults using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and standard bench diagnostic tools.
- Solder and desolder sensitive surface-mount devices (SMD) and through-hole parts cleanly.
- Read and follow circuit diagrams to isolate damaged components quickly and accurately.
- Repair internal power supplies, analog circuits, and digital control boards across diverse equipment.
- Test all repaired electronic boards thoroughly before final assembly and quality checks.
- Keep tidy workshop records of all component replacements and completed repair jobs.
What You Need to Apply - T4, National N Diploma (N4–N6), or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering.
- At least three years of proven hands-on bench experience repairing electronic circuit boards.
- Strong component-level fault-finding skills across low-voltage analogue and digital circuitry.
- Practical experience in precision micro-soldering, SMD rework, and track repairs.
- Good skill in tracing electronic circuit schematics and board wiring diagrams.
