An Electronic design company in Johannesburg has an exciting upcoming opportunity for a Junior Field/Applications Engineer.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

This company specializes in the Hardware and Software of the mining industry. As a Junior Field/Application Engineer you will be required to design, test, install, commission and oversee electronic drawings.

Education:

BEng in Electronics/ B.Eng Computer and Electronic/B.Eng Electrical and Electronics

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1 -4 years’ experience in Electronic Engineering
Must have experience in the mining or industrial industry
Planning, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Electronics
Integration of hardware modules with software modules
Answering technical questions about the related field
MS Office, AutoCAD
Having the following would be advantageous: Python, C++, JavaScript, Altium and Matlab
Willing to travel abroad when needed
