POSITION INFO:

Fast-growing technology company seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Electronic Engineer at their offices in Stellenbosch. This is not a software position, but is ideal for an R&D (hardware) Engineer with a passion for innovation.

For the position you would be required to have:

B.Eng/ B.Sc in Electronic or Electrical Engineer ESSENTIAL
M. Eng Electronic Engineering would be advantageous
Around 5 years’ experience in a design environment
Experience with designing multi-layer PCB’s
Experience with prototyping designs
Understanding of implications of noise, EMC, ESD
Experience with power electronics and programming of microcontroller PCB’s
Experience with the LabVIEW development environment
Experience with antenna design, matching networks and FEKO

Responsibilities would include you to:

Broad range of activities in the R&D environment, including building strong rapid prototyping ability
Design of PCB’s and circuitry for different products and applications
