SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Trade Tested Millwright to work on a mining site in Lesotho, in the Mokhotlong area.

This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
POSITION INFO:
- To ensure continuous vehicles availability through effective maintenance and service.
- To maintain vehicles and handle of breakdowns at all sites locally and in neighbouring countries.
- Monthly site inspections and maintenance on pumps, valves and silos.
- Maintain explosive plants and trucks
- Fault-finding on electrical and Hydraulic systems
- Handle mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Preventative maintenance
- Daily liaison with maintenance personnel regarding equipment & spares at mines
- Order spares required from the stores and for maintenance
- Assist in technical investigations
- Identification of defects and reporting to supervisor
- Management of safety issues
- Good Housekeeping
Requirements- Grade 12 with Maths and Science essential)
- Qualified red seal Millwright / Electro-mechanic (essential)
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license (Min code 10), code 11 or code EB (advantageous)
- Red Ticket (must be medically fit to work on a mine)
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an Electro Mechanic (Millwright)
