Electrician (Paint Setter)

SUMMARY:
My Client in the Automotive Component Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Qualified Electrician

POSITION INFO:

Our Client in the Automotive Component Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Qualified Electrician with setter experience on a paint line, to join their team.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Maintain all paint processing including equipment. thermal oxidizers, air supply units, conveyors, dry scrubbers etc.
• Verify and maintain process parameters to master data
• Maintain conveyor technology
• Maintain process technology
• Perform production maintenance during production- cleaning of dry scrubbers etc.
• Responsible for production preventative maintenance on machinery and all related equipment
• Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to
• Document all process parameters and report out of control conditions
• Complete base coat stoppages timeously and accurately
• Start-up and process verification
• Responsible for TMP in allocated area of work
• Review quality of parts on shift and implement corrctive measures
• Complete accurate shift handovers and breakdown reports

Minimum Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with PLC knowledge, experience, qualification
• Trade Test essential
• 3 - 5 years experience in the Automotive Industry and in paint line control systems essential
• Knowledge of TMP - Total preventative maintenance
