Electrician/ Millwright

Our client in the Agricultural Sector, based in Kirkwood, is currently looking to employ an experienced Electrician/Millwright.

Requirements:

• Trade tested Artisan (Electrician or Millwright).
• 3 years post qualification Experience in relevant trade with strong Mechanical Background.
• Grade 12 with math’s and science advantageous.
• N4 Industrial electronics/Electrotechnics study towards N6.
• Code 08 Drivers license.
• Own reliable Transport.
• Mobile phone.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Focused and self-motivated.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• High level of reliability and accountability.
• Ability to learn new Technology.
• High level of Punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

• Ensure adherence to health and safety, environment, quality, and housekeeping.
• Execute preventative maintenance and breakdown work.
• Candidate will be expected to have the ability to plan his/her work.
• Apply fault-finding techniques, and repair equipment defects.
• Clean, maintain and repair mechanical parts, components and equipment as directed by the manager.
• Conduct regular plant inspections.
• Carry out workshop fabrication, equipment assembly and installation.
• Attain and maintain relevant licenses and authorizations required to execute allocated duties e.g. basic rigging, working at heights.
• Candidate may be required to lead a team.
