You will be responsible for reviewing completed electrical installations and upgrades, preparing and submitting compliant electrical certificates, and supporting teams to maintain regulatory standards. This is a crucial compliance and documentation role that helps ensure safety, accuracy, and legal adherence across all electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review installation reports and upgrade details from field engineers and contractors
- Prepare and update electrical certificates (EIC, EICR, Minor Works) in line with current standards
- Ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations and local/national guidelines
- Maintain accurate internal records of all issued certificates
- Liaise with on-site installation teams to clarify technical details as needed
- Submit documentation to clients, landlords, or regulatory bodies
- Provide guidance on compliance and best practices in certification
- Support audits and quality assurance processes for electrical documentation
About You
- Fully qualified electrician or minimum 5 years of electrical testing experience
- Strong working knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience in issuing electrical certificates
- Familiarity with certification software and digital tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently from home
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Competent with IT systems for managing documents, communication, and databases
