Electrician

Our Client in mining is looking for an Electrician.

Mininmum Requirements 

• N2 trade related subjects for 3 years as qualiffied Artisan 
• Recognized Trade test certificate 
• Shaft winder experience 
• 3+ years mining experience 
• Learnership contract/workbook/proof of formal training 
• Proficient in English language 
• Medical certificate of fitness 
• First Aid certificate 
• Own transport (to attend to call-outs in good time)
• Must be willing to do standby

Advantageous 

Previous shaft related experience 

Roles & Responsibility 

• Is responsibility to perform electrical activities to repair and/or maintain equipment
• Safe and effective installation and maintence of electrical equipment and machinery 
• Ensures that all safety issues are fully compiled with, including controlling and directing all activities of subordinates within his/her area of reponsibility 
• Comply with provided systems, practices, methods, standards & procedures of work
• Efective communication is established and maintained
