Electricians are responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client in mining is looking for an Electrician.

Mininmum Requirements

N2 trade related subjects for 3 years as qualiffied Artisan
Recognized Trade test certificate
Shaft winder experience
3+ years mining experience
Learnership contract/workbook/proof of formal training
Proficient in English language
Medical certificate of fitness
First Aid certificate
Own transport (to attend to call-outs in good time)
Must be willing to do standby

Advantageous

Previous shaft related experience

Roles & Responsibility

Is responsibility to perform electrical activities to repair and/or maintain equipment
Safe and effective installation and maintence of electrical equipment and machinery
Ensures that all safety issues are fully compiled with, including controlling and directing all activities of subordinates within his/her area of reponsibility
Comply with provided systems, practices, methods, standards & procedures of work
Efective communication is established and maintained
