Electrician

SUMMARY:
Globally established engineering and manufacturing company based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to employ a qualified Electrician on a permanent basis. Level: Mid - Senior

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
• Minimum N3 Engineering Studies Certificate.
• Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Section 13/Red Seal).
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ post trade working experience in a technical steel / manufacturing environment.
• Driver’s License with own reliable transport.

Skills and knowledge required:

• PLC & Drive experience (programming skills beneficial).
• Knowledge of various sensors (Inclino sensors, Read switches and encoders).

• Electrical experience in a plant environment.
• Panels and DB Boards.
• Automated machines.
• Drives and/or invertors.
• Generator electrical systems.
• Control systems.
• Mains and/or reticulation.
