Electrician

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for an Electrician, based in the Rustenburg area. This will be a contract position.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements and Duties:

• Only trained and qualified people with a trade certificate need apply for the position
• Fault finding and repairs to Medium Voltage (11 kV) Overhead power lines, including switching and replacement of transformers 
• Repairs and maintenance to diamond wire saws (including fault finding on the Variable Speed Drives).
• Maintenance and repairs to Atlas Copco Air Compressors.
• Minor repairs to the trackless mobile machines electrical systems including the replacement of alternators and starter motors, as well fault finding and repairs to the wiring and lights on the vehicles.
