JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established manufacturing company based in Johannesburg South is looking for a Workshop Supervisor to oversee the Electrical department.

Salary is between R25000 and R30000 per month (cost to company), negotiable

Responsibilities

Directing and supervising workshop staff
Planning schedules and activities
Prioritising work schedules and allocating tasks
Monitor progress and report to the manager
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies
Ensuring stock levels are maintained
Liaising with procurement department on stock requirements
Sourcing quotes for materials and supplies.
General administration and reporting

Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment and electrical workshop essential
Electrical qualification would be an advantage but not a necessity
Experience with wiring and the quality control thereof
Supervisory/ people management experience essential
Own vehicle and valid driver's license
