Calling all Electrical Technicians!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client a company located on the West Coast Saldanha / Vredenburg is looking to employ an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be accountable to the Senior Electrical Technician. To qualify for this position the most suitable candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

S4 Electrical Engineering or an Equivalent Qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and RPL - SAQA would be considered.
A minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
Instrumentation experience will be an added advantage.

Basic/Brief Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance;
Electrical Systems Upgrade;
Must be able to Setup, Program and do Faultfinding on S5/S7 Siemens PLC, Siemens Master Drives and Intouch HMI systems;
Involved in the smooth running and optimization of the plant;
Must willing and able to perform standby duties;
Must be criminal clear
Must have a valid driver’s license to perform standby duties and get to work.

In addition to the above the successful candidate must also have the following attributes: Positive with energetic attitude; highly self-motivated; good communicator; good “work ethic”; good faultfinding and problem solving skills, able to work in a team as well as individually and must have sober habits
