An opportunity has become available with our client in the automotive industry for an Electrical Shift Artisan to be based in Gqeberha.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Maintenance activities in the Machining, Paint Plant, Wheel Finishing Department, Diamond Cut and Final View Areas, but not only restricted to one area alone (cross functioning)
Avail your skills, knowledge and experience to the rest of the Machining, Paint Plant, Wheel Finishing Department, Diamond Cut Department and Final View Department artisans including other production facility as and when required
Ensuring that you stay on after hours until all production machines is in full production mode as required by the Production Manager of that area
Liaise with Shift Coordinators to assist on breakdowns and preventative work
GMR2 inspections and HSE requirements are adhered to all procedures, instructions and any other legislative requirements

Requirements:

Qualified Red Seal Trade Tested Electrician
Technical skills and relevant tertiary qualification N3
Quality Management System understanding
Five (5) years experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment
Essential experience: Fanuc and Siemens Controlled CNC Machines, Siepe Conveyor Systems, FANUC and KUKA Robots, PLC Controlled Systems, Knowledge of Wet Paint Plant and Powder Plant
