Electrical Project Manager / Site Manager

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
National Diploma Electrical Engineering is essential
Trade Tested Electrical Engineering; Installation Rules (Wireman’s license) SANS10142.
Experience on 11kv lines HV in switching is an advantage
Solar PV experience is an advantage

Main duties:

• Co-ordinates tasks/activities associated with the implementation of procedures and monitoring and reporting on sequences / outcomes at the deployment depot/workshop
• Co-ordinates tasks / activities associated with the execution of all pro-active and reactive maintenance (breakdowns); fault finding and project management for infrastructure upgrades relating to Electrical Engineering
• Monitor procedure sequences and report on the outcomes for all maintenance work executed within any of the regions
• Ensure quality assurance of all maintenance work executed by either internal staff (subordinates) or external service providers
• Co-ordinates and controls tasks / activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline
• Managing the formulation and specification of specific contracts and tender documents, controlling and implementing contractual obligations for all electrical engineering repairs (breakdowns and fault finding) and maintenance and infrastructure upgrades, within the region
• Participate in MV Operating
