SUMMARY:
My client, a successful wholesale company in SA is seeking to employ a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Epping. Apart from electrical work, you will also be responsible for the site and building maintenance in its entirety, ensuring the site is always in a presentable and functional state.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Actively follow up and manage call outs and breakdowns that have been logged.
Ensure administrative requirement are met and systems are followed at all times
Take full responsibility for the stock holding of spares and machines, including ordering, levels, and stock take function.
Attend to emergency breakdowns before or after work hours when necessary.
Fault finding, diagnoses, and repair of machinery and equipment.
Ensure the workshop and storage area are kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times.
Maintenance work around the building: Plumbing, Cement work, painting, tiling, use of power tools, carpentry.
You may be required to perform other tasks as and when operationally required.

Requirements:

Matric or NTC 3 Electronics Certificate.
Electrical qualification required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Min 1 to 2 years of electronic and/or mechanical experience.
Excellent clear and comprehensible communication skills.
